Amico Artists Initiative
Amico Artists is an initiative to promote cultural exchange among American artists and artists from other countries and encourage artists and arts supporters to discuss issues, arrange events and exchanges, and sponsor public arts projects. The initiative advocates for inclusion of the arts as part of public life. Communicating through the arts is an effective way to encourage cultural understanding and to involve people in enriching community life.
We provide artists with knowledge and education about the many uses of new media and Web 2.0 technologies for promotion of the arts and provide assistance for artists to reach a broader range of audiences by highlighting the availability of artists and providing a forum for artists to promote their talents. We encourage supporters of the arts to assist us in providing venues for performing and sponsorships for cultural exchange. Supporters may contribute to or sponsor an artist's continuing training, education or travel.

Washington Intrernational Chorus
Founded in Washington, DC in 2008, the Washington International Chorus is an organization of singers that strives to present choral music from around the world. The leadership and membership of the chorus are geared towards performing music that is representative of the various countries by tapping into the vast potential of cultural diversity in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
The chorus features traditional and contemporary choral literature, including familiar and lesser-known compositions, new works, and arrangements of folk or indigenous tunes. The Washington International Chorus is committed to the acquisition and presentation of an ambitious repertoire performed with the highest degree of musical excellence and artistic integrity, as well as the utmost respect for the distinct cultures and traditions from which it is drawn.
The Washington International Chorus strongly believes that choral music is particularly suitable for demonstrating the cultural richness of the world’s peoples and communities. Transcending mere language, live choral performance allows an audience to experience the beauty, complexity and indigenous distinctiveness of living cultural heritage. At the same time it serves as a reflection of positive cultural encounters and exchange, in which diverse traditions and languages communicate through art and come together through song.
